I decided to stick this shoot in the cosplay section because I don’t think putting a handful of these photos in my modeling portfolio will do everyone’s hard work justice! This was an idea I had after scouting some amazing vintage DC bed sheets on eBay.
Deciding it would be fun to turn them into dresses with some friends for SDCC 2010, I commissioned my ensemble from Blasphemina’s Closet/local designer Samantha Rei. I gave her the sheets and free rein to do whatever she wanted within a sort of 40’s housewife/pinup feel. I love the results.
Four of us participated in the group, and we shot photos at various locations in our hotel at San Diego Comic Con. A big thank you goes to Hydred Makabali and Nesreen Madain for their fantastic work on my hair and makeup. There is a reason I use them every year at the show!

Just Awesome.
Oh, yeah, you just hit my sweet point, these vintage style dresses with flower patterns just my favorite, haha
I love the fourth girl in the first picture, in my opinion, she’s only one showing the whole dress to us, I like it because we can see the shape and lace of this dress
Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year
Matt
This makes me think of what it might’ve been like to work at DC during the “Mad Men” years, lol.
Very nice stuff.
Meagan, you look adorable! Thank you!
you are great… simply perfect, and you are adorable, now you have another fan
Thank you Efrain!
Just so perfect! This is exactly what I would wear to Comic Con.
