While in Seattle for my recent trip to Nintendo Headquarters, I had the chance to meet a great online friend Alli (and member of the Girls Entertainment Network) for the first time.

Alli was nice enough to show me all around Seattle just before it got dark. She started by taking me to Fisherman’s Warf, which was cute and had a ton of little shops along the way. We also peeked at the first ever Starbuck coffee shop while wondering around. The strange thing was that even though it was dark and there was snow on the ground, the walk was enjoyable – not too chilly.

We then walked all around downtown Seattle, ending up at an Asian food market along the way – which was perfect as I was craving all the goodies I picked up in Tokyo back in October.

When finished with the market, we settled in for dinner at some place I can’t quite remember. All I know is that deep fried artichoke hearts = win. And I had a fantastic crab cake sandwich.

We topped off the night with a visit to Red Mango – which I can’t help but have every time I am on the West coast. Something about that frozen yogurt has me hooked!

While I only had a few hours with her, it was super nice to finally meet Alli in person. I found out I love Seattle. The mountains, the trees, the ocean…it’s an amazing place! Check out my photos below!
