I should have blogged about this amazing experience weeks ago, but have been too busy on the Tomb Raider front to keep up!

The long and short of the story is that my Anya costume caught the attention of Microsoft in France, and I was given the amazing honor of being invited to attend the Gears 3 launch event in Paris as a special guest. No kidding. Check out the invite below. Part of me still can’t believe that it happened.

The entire occasion was an out-of-body experience as I’ve never been invited to an event for my costuming work before. I was a bit nervous to be honest, but the interview on stage was casual and fun and gave me a chance to geek out over Gears. The Microsoft and Edelman teams were wonderful hosts, too. A big “thank you” to them!
