A couple months back I was approached by artist and all around cool guy Carter Allen about doing reference work for his comic, The Adventures of Nikki Harris. I agreed right away, as I loved the vector-inspired style that he used in the books.
We recently met up before the 2009 FallCon convention, and snapped the necessary shots.
One thing I love about posing for reference images is that makeup isn’t required. A plus

Carter just shot over some preview art for the books, and I figured it was a good time to share. Keep in mind when putting together outfits for reference work, cut and fit matters much more than patterns and colors. That’s why my outfits are so eye jarring – we were trying to put together something that resembled a university uniform and school jersey without resorting to purchasing anything.
Anyway, just thought I would share! Check out the pictures below and visit the official Nikki Harris website for more details!!
